https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=48965

Summary: Use POST instead of GET for critical operations
           Product: Tomcat 6
           Version: 6.0.26
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: minor
          Priority: P2
         Component: Manager application
        AssignedTo: dev@tomcat.apache.org
        ReportedBy: m...@simon-tiffert.de

The GET link for an undeployment of an app returns to the list view of all
applications. After a server side deployment of the app I refreshed the page
and wondered, where my application was gone. It was again undeployed, because
the URL was still: http://XXX:8080/manager/html/undeploy?path=/app

If a POST call or a redirect after commit is used, this wouldn't be a problem.

GET vs. POST:
