Unless there are complaints, and if it passes TCK, it can be applied. The solution to the issue was a bit unexpected for me, but I think it is for the better. The examples webapp appears to be working with this, and tests in trunk do pass, with exception of about 50% of cookie tests. I have not investigated, whether there is currently a bug with cookies, or it is just my environment. It seems unlikely that those are related to this issue. The TC 6.0 and 5.5 variations of the patch will be prepared soon.
