Summary: worker.list & balance_workers usage: contradiction in documentation Product: Tomcat Connectors Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Documentation AssignedTo: dev@tomcat.apache.org ReportedBy: richard....@gmail.com There is a contradiction between the workers.properties Reference Guide (http://tomcat.apache.org/connectors-doc/reference/workers.html) and the LoadBalancer HowTo (http://tomcat.apache.org/connectors-doc/generic_howto/loadbalancers.html). The first doc states that "The workers that are member of load balancer must not appear in the worker.list directive." and "These workers should not appear in the worker.list property!", while the second informs "The workers that are member of load balancer do not need to appear in the worker.list directive." Which one is correct? If load balance members really must not appear in the worker.list directive, I suggest to include in the Reference Guide a brief note about why they must not be listed. Besides, if there is a legitimate way of accessing a single node of a load balancer, it should referenced. -- Configure bugmail: https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@tomcat.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@tomcat.apache.org
