This works for me with:
- Windows Server 2008 x64 Enterprise install
- VMWare Tools (it was a VM)
- Java 1.6.0_17 x64
- Tomcat 6.0.18 and Tomcat 6.0.x latest
This looks like it is an issue with your environment.
Some things to check:
- Are you using the latest Java version?
- Are you network drivers up to date?
- Can you write a simple Java program to reproduce this?
- Can you repeat this on other systems?
Given that this does not appear to be a Tomcat bug, please continue this issue
on the users list.
