But works on all versions of Tomcat in windows and version 6 of Tomcat on
Linux.
Using the supplied characters filters from the sample applications in the
tomcat distribution, and setting the character encoding to UTF-8. Accented
characters from the stream are corrupted. This only happens for plain text,
XML documents streams are ok where the encoding is set at the top of the
document.
