Summary: Valve invoke wrapper response problem Product: Tomcat 6 Version: 6.0.18 Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Catalina AssignedTo: dev@tomcat.apache.org ReportedBy: apa...@wardbrook.com If you try creating a valve that wraps the response object and pass your response wrapper to the invoke call, eg getNext().invoke(request, wrappedResponse); it will be ignored. The invoke method appears to use the response object stored within the request object instead of using the (2nd) response parameter in the invoke call. In order to get my wrapper to be used, I had to add the following request.setResponse(wrappedResponse); before calling the invoke method eg request.setResponse(wrappedResponse); getNext().invoke(request, wrappedResponse); -- Configure bugmail: https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@tomcat.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@tomcat.apache.org
