You are right. This would make things much easier.
It would complicate the url pattern for native
inside build.xml, but who cares.

If we treat it the same way as the windows binaries, it should just be a
local copy shouldn't it?
Sounds like a plan to me.
Still need to figure out what to do with all the other versions in a.o/dist
though - we can't just leave them.
