http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=44066 Summary: stdout log is not being created everyday Product: Tomcat 5 Version: 5.5.20 Platform: Other OS/Version: Windows Server 2003 Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Catalina AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I am using Tomcat to Run Jira. About 4 weeks ago Tomcat stopped creating a new stdout log everyday and I have no idea why, what changed and most importantly how to fix it. I spent time talking to Jira support and they said it is a problem with apache tomcat. This is a porblem because Jira makes these huge logs in stdout that need to be deleted. And because apache is not creating a new log everyday I have to stop it delete the log and then restart. I don't like having to shutdown Jira every 4-5 days even if its for a few seconds to delete the log. Can you please help me to get tomcat to create a new stdout log everyday? Do you know how I can stop the massive amount of loging coming from Jira? It is worthless information and Jira support said that there is no way to stop it. Maybe there is something I can do in tomcat. Let me know if there is any information I can get you about my configuration. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
