Summary: JavaDoc HttpUtils deprecation note points to non
                    existing method
           Product: Tomcat 5
           Version: Unknown
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Servlet & JSP API
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi,

http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.5-doc/servletapi/javax/servlet/http/HttpUtils.html
says: "Deprecated. As of Java(tm) Servlet API 2.3. These methods were only
useful with the default encoding and have been moved to the request interfaces."

But there is no method parseQueryString in HttpServletRequest or its parent
class. The ServletRequest.getParameter*() methods are not a useable replacement
because the destroy the body of the HTTP-request.
