After migrating from Tomcat version 9.0.96 to 9.0.97 to address the
CVE-2024-50379 vulnerability, we observed intermittent missing file content on
the client side, despite the files being present on disk. This issue was traced
to a race condition introduced by changes made for an incorrect cache
calculation fix (Commit Id: 636017459a88befe1c5f1fd9d8f31ff2f13f74f6).
Concurrent access to the cache during initialization and eviction led to
uninitialized resources being incorrectly handled, resulting in content
delivery failures.
