Thanks for your comment.  I read up on "nohup" which I will try to see if it
works.  Well, to clarify the problem further it is slightly random.  Sometimes
when I log out, Tomcat will still run, but portions of the site becomes buggy. 
We create images on the fly and they fail to load properly.  The problem has
something to do with the jars initially loaded not working anymore.  Sometimes
Tomcat, however, crashes completely.  Not sure exactly what is going on.
