http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=42465 Summary: false 404 error upon missing servlet-class Product: Tomcat 6 Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: other Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Catalina AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] in a web.xml, the servlet-class and servlet-mapping are correctly specified. However, the .class file is missing in the .war. Tomcat returns a 404. Since this is a server-side misconfiguration, shouldn't it 1) rather give a 5?? error back to the browser? 2) add a corresponding log-line to the catalina.out (by default on) -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
