Michael Osipov <micha...@apache.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|WONTFIX |FIXED --- Comment #5 from Michael Osipov <micha...@apache.org> --- (In reply to Mark Thomas from comment #4) > The wiki will be updated for the next release round. > > Since OpenSSL 1.1.1 is no longer supported, we will not be providing the > patch to build Tomcat Native with OpenSSL 1.1.1 on Windows. We will only be > supporting building Tomcat Native with OpenSSL 3.0.x I do not understand this, really. A viable patch. OpenSSL 3.0.x is not a hard requirement, so there is no need to remove the patch. If 1.2.x and 2.0.x would fail configuration with OpenSSL < 3 I would understand that, but they don't. Recommended != required. There is no need to make life harder than it is. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@tomcat.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@tomcat.apache.org
