The most likely cause is the web application (or a library the web application
is using) starting but failing to stop a non-daemon thread.
Bugzilla is not the place to seek help for this sort of issue. Please use the
Tomcat users' mailing list.

If the users@ discussion identifies a Tomcat bug then this issuer can be
reopened and the steps to recreate the issue added.
