damnit, that is my fault. although, functionality wise this does
nothing, but it picked up a changed version of the life cycle listener.
I take full responsibility for screwing this one up, I didn't even pay
attention when I ran the tests on the build.

It wasn't in 5.5.22 (the test build anyhow).
