Hi all, I'm trying to resolve a problem I have using the manager application to deploy a war file.
The problem is that the time it takes to upload the war file is very long and the website is offline for the time it takes to not only undeploy the old application and deploy the new application, but the file transfer too. Basically what I need is for the application to allow me to deploy an application remotely, but to copy the war over *before* undeploying the old application. First is this possible directly in the manager? (I'm using it through Cargo, and the Cargo developers say that what I want is impossible given the current manager implementation). If it isn't possible (which I suspect), would you be interested in a patch to the manager application that provided this 'transfer before deploy' functionality?
