Hi, I created a new milestone for Tomcat 6,called "default," and set it as the default milestone. Creating and editing an issue seems to work OK now. I created 40690 (http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=40690) and edited it a bit. If it works for you as well, great.
