Rory, I need some advice. Various articles I have read about Jigsaw state that Java 9 will include a new API for applications to use to obtain information about any annotations that are present on classes.
It looks like Tomcat will need to use this for some of the annotation scanning it currently performs. I have spent a fair amount of time looking for such an API but have been unable to find it. Could you point me in the right direction?
