I have Tomcat Server version: Apache Tomcat/7.0.39 running on Production
environment having at least ~100 users during the day totaling about 10-20K in
24 hours. I'm having issue from time to time and issue resolves when I restart
the server.
Upon checking netstat for the listening port, I see all the connections are in
CLOSE_WAIT. When this happens tomcat stops to serving any request and
application is not responsive. When I restart server, tomcat works and starts
taking traffic and all ports goes either ESTABLISHED or TIME_WAIT.
