Plus, even if it isn't that response has an arrogance and offensive terseness to it - albeit unintentional. Sure there are probably TOO MANY bugs/tickets. But if you are going to take the time to respond to _any_ of them, why not make the response actually useful? For instance, here you could have explained why this was support (product working on version n-1, but not version n) and not a bug.
