All, I'm trying to drum-up support for a request I've made for the servlet 4.0 spec. You can find the request here:
https://java.net/jira/browse/SERVLET_SPEC-130 In short, I've requested that the spec add a context attribute key for "TLS protocol". Currently-defined TLS-related information includes cipher suite, key size, certificate, and session id. Only the protocol (e.g. TLSv1.2, etc.) is missing. It would be great if those who agree that this should be added to please go into JIRA And vote for the issue. It seems to be getting no attention whatsoever, and it really is trivial. Basically the Servlet EG just needs to decide to make it a part of the spec, and assign a properly-namespaced context attribute key for the purpose. Thanks, -chris
