I tried to improve that with simpler hooks (the instance manager and the thread listener). OTOH, as was said previously, this one is used to do RunAs most likely [it needs to set the proper security context when the servlet is invoked], so since someone from TomEE is there to comment, what's the plan to do this feature without it ?
