http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=39826 Summary: HttpSession object is being recreated Product: Tomcat 5 Version: 5.5.9 Platform: Other OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Catalina AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] In a webapp I am working on, we are storing attributes in the HttpSession object that are used for user authentication and authorization. A filter is being used to look at each URL and insure the associated user is authorized to access that URL. I can reliably reproduce a problem where the HttpSession object does not persist across the entire user session. Within less than a minute, I see the HttpSession object change (id changes and we loose all of the session attributes). I am using Java 1.5.03 with Tomcat 5.5.9. Is this a know problem and is there any work around? -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
