Hi, I'm trying to understand the 2 methods - is there any particular reason for getting the info via JMX instead of just calling the methods ? Would it be safe to use the direct calls ?
For example, in StandardContext we get 'configClass' attribute from the parent - my understanding was that parent of a SC is allways a Host, so getConfigClass() would work as well. I'm trying to find out what (justified) direct uses of JMX we have, in addition to the register/unregister and notify that we do via modeler. Costin
