However, I run an open-source project www.tomcatprobe.org and I've been asked on many occasions if the app can display IP address of a session, which I would agree with if it was possible. Unfortunately even the simplest Filter is not an option as the app displays sessions that belong to other applications. So if Tomcat core is not going to support the feature it is the end of the road for me.
