Summary: HttpServletRequest cannot handle multipart request
                    quickly
           Product: Tomcat 5
           Version: Unknown
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P2
         Component: Catalina
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

HttpServletRequest actully has nothing to do with multipart request.
when uploading a big size file, my upload-handler can get
request.getHeader("Content-Length").
according to the content length, big size file exceeding the max size specified
can be dropped quickly.
but tomcat seem to uploading a big mount of data, the file larger more time
cost.
request.getInputStream keeping reading more byte than i actully want.
