The only result was that a servlet that I thought I defined properly was not found in the browser. The Browser said "Servlet xxxx could not be found". Also I don't quit get it why you changed the behavior that .jars with packages like javax.servlet are not loaded in the first place in tomcat. That existed in tomcat5 and was a big help.
