The patch includes a new load balancing algorithm based on current worker "busyness" (lb.method=B). The details of the patch are in bugzilla, and of course, in the patch itself. It improved performance greatly for us, load balancing about 25 threads of high traffic over 6 tomcats. We've also been using this patch with mod_jk 1.2.14 in production since August with good results. I know this won't make it into the 1.2.15 version, is there any chance of getting it into the next version?
