Any assistance > greatly appreciated. You are not running GNOME, so the GNOME screensaver service is not running, so OOO can't tell the GNOME screensaver to not blank the screen. Is there an actual problem, or do you just need to run 'ooffice &>/dev/null'? Robert Ransom
