Hey everyone, It's been quite a while since the last operator release, and it's probably time to get all of the small bug fixes and new features out there. Before release I'm going to finish out a few tickets (namely upgrading dependencies and adding an opt-out for the new PodDisruptionBudget). Please get in any new tickets soon and tag them to the v0.7.0 release if you want them included.
I also think it's high time that we set the minimum Solr version for the operator to 8.8 or 8.11. There is documentation for the improvements we can make when this minimum Solr version is upped, and upgrading it to 8.8 or 8.11 would give us quite a lot of wins. Also 8.11 is the last officially supported version, so we aren't bound to support anything else. Glad to hear feedback on the release or the future plans. - Houston
