I have only heard that the browser plugin will stop working, so the standalone executable should still work, if you have it already.
If anyone needs the standalone debugger executable, I highly recommend downloading it immediately, just in case Adobe decides to take things down. I recently discovered that they already took down most old versions of playerglobal.swc (except version 32) and most of their Flash/Flex/AIR content has been moved to a special archive download page. There are a lot of 404s for old Flash-related pages on Adobe's website these days. It's best to assume that they will remove all of the remaining Flash content suddenly one day without warning. -- Josh Tynjala Bowler Hat LLC <https://bowlerhat.dev> On Thu, Dec 3, 2020 at 1:56 PM Harbs <[email protected]> wrote: > What does the EOL mean to Royale? > > Specifically, we rely on Flash to run tests when compiling the framework. > Is it only the tests which will be a problem or is there something else? > > Is the Flash Player Debugger also going to stop working or is this just > the Flash browser plugin? > > Harbs
