it for creating the patch to spark branch, please create one jira for
addressing review comments.
[~rohini], given the size of the spark branch change, I prefer the approach to
be somewhere in the middle where we create separate jira whenever the fix
requires large change (like the ones requiring more test cases).
Multiple issues fixed in one jira makes it harder for me to keep track later.
