Cool! The release is starting to take shape.
I will be bailing on the hsqldb2 thing. There is a bunch of things that I just
need a lot more time to figure out.We still have to solve the Lucene issue.For
after the release, I will have many cleanups to C++ and Java, and part of it
necessarily goes through reducing the Boost footprint as well.The near future
has to C++14, and at least Java 11.

couldn't update it very much as upstream moved from ant to gradle.
And I also had to add some security updates. JS is important nowadays, no idea
if we should look for alternatives in the future.
