Hello,

good news wrapped as bad news:

There is no Apache OpenOffice stand at FOSDEM 2016, because there is a
common Apache booth (see below). Our wishes will become true. Good news!

Mechtilde and I will be there with some materials presenting Apache
OpenOffice.

We look forward to see you at FOSDEM 2016.

Kind regards
Michael

Subject: Your stand proposal for FOSDEM 2016 has been rejected

Hi Michael,

The FOSDEM stands team is sorry to have to inform you that your request
for a stand for 'Apache OpenOffice' has been rejected.

Like most years, we received roughly twice as many requests for stands
as we have tables available. We have aimed to grant as many requests as
feasible and to increase the diversity of the accepted stands. Because
of this, we have unfortunately had to reject some projects that have
been present in previous years years.

However, we did accept the proposal from the 'Apache Software Foundation'
and grant them two tables. It might be possible to present your project
via their stand in some way. However, it will be up to them to decide if
and how they would like to do this. The primary contact for this
proposal is Daniel Gruno <[email protected]>. We have suggested to
him that he may contact you.

Kind regards,

Johan van Selst
FOSDEM stands team
