No. It simply means that, since we haven't managed to have buildbots available for releases yet, we build snapshots and releases on different machines. Snapshots are built on "modern" systems and require a recent glibc, but releases are built on "older" systems and can work with an older glibc. So nothing changes as for compatibility of releases.
