This problem is due to an improperly written Lexmark dll file (sometimes also
used in Dell printers). The cure is simple
Solution
Locate the product-specific file lx??prp*.* in the directory
C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3.
Then copy it to C:\WINDOWS\system32.

although in that thread it is reported for MS Outlook.
