Hi Andrew, I still like your idea but it means also some work and I assume that it will be difficult to include it in AOO 4.0. But that doesn't mean that we don't want support it, you should continue to promote the feature and hopefully some interested developers start working on it.
Maybe a good idea and a good start is to collect all the information and create a wiki page to explain and document the feature in detail.
