What was the original problem that we are trying to solve? >From what I can gather we have no idea how many people use Base. There's speculation that it's small, but unless it's measured, what does this mean? Also, there are some people who think that Base works for them and that it's critical for them to have.
Perhaps things are good as is regarding the db?
