RPM packaging

Hello,

    New to the list. By way of introduction, I work within Red Hat 
Federal and am tinkering with NiFi for a customer project. As part of 
the tinkering I will be packaging NiFi up as an RPM. I'd like to 
contribute the RPM build scripts upstream.

    So, two questions:
(1) Is there an interest in shipping NiFi as RPMs instead of tarballs? 
RPM would work on RHEL (+derivatives like CentOS)
(2) Just gauging interest: a few deployments have expressed interest in 
having NiFi ship in EPEL. Has this been thought of / discussed before?
