Followed the release helper guide in this environment:
Apache Maven 3.8.7
Maven home: /usr/share/maven
Java version: 21.0.10, vendor: Ubuntu, runtime:
/usr/lib/jvm/java-21-openjdk-amd64
Default locale: en_US, platform encoding: UTF-8
OS name: "linux", version: "6.8.0-106-generic", arch: "amd64", family:
"unix"
And built NiFi git main with the new API package. Everything worked.

Ran through all my normal checks for a nifi-api release including
building nifi main using the resulting nifi-api:2.8.0 artifacts from
the RC.
