thx, but we don't need the config, we have a myfaces-archetype which generates 
a jsf/cdi setup for servlet-containers like tomcat.

i'm not sure what you mean. MYFACES-3786 works for converters/validators 
already and PartialViewContext as well as ELResolver need a different approach 
which is even easier, because you don't have to care about state-saving.
