it would be a myfaces specific api which can be used by myfaces-core itself
and myfaces specific adapters (e.g. provided by myfaces codi and apache
deltaspike).
the api in javax.faces.* won't be changed before v2.2.x (we aren't allowed
to do it earlier).

i also think tomee users would benefit from it. they won't use it directly,
but they would benefit from the mentioned fixes (+ adapters).
