Walter MourĂ£o commented on TRINIDAD-697:
----------------------------------------
For the record: in JSF2, using <f:ajax/> instead of partialTriggers and
partialSubmit, it works fine.
> Trinidad has no way to re-render components to show server validation errors
> or conversion errors on a partial update

> Project: MyFaces Trinidad
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Components
> Affects Versions: 1.0.2-core
> Reporter: Andrew Robinson
>
> There is no built-in method in Trindad to have components re-render to show
> validation errors and conversion errors during a PPR request with client-side
> validation disabled.
> As a result, component messages are not shown to the user on validation and
> conversion errors.
