panelNavigation2 inside tiles application

I'm experiencing problems with the panelNavigation2 menue inside a tiles based
application using the
org.apache.myfaces.tomahawk.application.jsp.JspTilesViewHandlerImpl.
Status quo: I'm running a JSF Application using myfaces-1.1.1 and
tomahawk-1.1.1 including the struts version 1.2.8 - the whole application is
based on tiles and is working fine (including some panelNavigation2 menues
(classic))!
When I try to upgrade to myfaces-core-1.1.2 and tomahawk-1.1.2(3)(-SNAPSHOT)
the panelNavigation2 menue is not working at all. Instead of rendering a menue
it just generates an empty html list with no links oder buttons in it.
When I insert a panelNavigation2 example in the tomahawk-examples' tiles.war I
get the same problem.
I guess it have something to do with the JspTilesViewHandlerImpl.
