Hi,
I have a patch for a Cirrus chip (cs4207) that I received from my
supplier. However when I look to the source of the current kernel then
it's already on the version 2.6.29.rc-7 (based on the 2.6.28 with some
upgrade patches). Unfortunately the patch that I received does not
work on the existing kernel.
My question is now: Would it be possible to take the vanilla kernel
2.6.27, patch is with my audio patch and then by some other tool,
upgrade it to the 2.6.29 kernel were I can create my menlow kernel
package?
