Dear Praj, and mobliners I thought about a better way to create initrd on yum based platforms. There is a simple way. Yum base platform uses a initramfs. In any case. initramfs-tools(mkinitramfs) is simple and fiexible. Long time ago I tried to create a Live CD on CentOS Base and I used initramfs-tools at that time. initramfs-tools is ported to yum based system from Ubuntu package. initramfs-tools have many script files. so I could create it easy :-)
As you know, Yum base system(Fedora, CentOS etc) don't have initramfs-tools. So I think two way to haw to handle a initarmfs scirpts. 1. Including in MIC It needs to test to both *Ubuntu* and Yum based platforms. It's easy to sync platforms/common-yum and platforms/common-apt. 2. Create and maintenace initramfs-tools by moblin2. It needs to refer moblin2 yum repository. Could you tell me comment about it?
