Can you check some permissions of .git/index, .git/objects/*?
maybe some files can't access denied.

I very new to mailing lists and to the community Ubuntu-mobile.
I have recently bought a D945GCLF and want to customize an OS for
this board, for a carpc and other cool stuff. In order to gain some
info I read and I read, but I am now on a point to really put the
knowledge in to practice.
So I installed the moblin image creator maked a Menlow project and
try to run it on the board, it will boot but the network controller
is not recognized. So I wanted to customize the kernel. The first
step was to download the kernel sources:
git clone rsync://moblin.org/repos/projects/kernel-mid-2.6.24.git
kernel-mid
I also tried
git clone http://moblin.org/repos/projects/kernel-mid-2.6.24.git
kernel-mid
No luck I'm getting a segmentation fault on the http option and the
rsync won't work either.
So my questions
1) Does someone has a solution for the network controller
2) What about the segmentation fault
3) Who has Ubuntu up and running on the D945GCLF, pleas inform me
