Nice logo - and I would suggest giving the letters "Maven" a more modern feel. Same color, freeware sans-serif typeface, easy on the eye.
How about using Aller for the "Maven" letters in the logo: [image: Infogad bild 1] For those of you wanting to do a test spin: http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/Aller?filter%5Bclassifications%5D%5B%5D=display&filter%5Bclassifications%5D%5B%5D=monospaced&filter%5Bclassifications%5D%5B%5D=sans+serif&filter%5Bfamily_size%5D=1&filter%5Bdownload%5D=all&sort=popular#testdrive 2013/12/18 Stephen Connolly <[email protected]> > Here is a more serious suggestion... > > A moose... why not Maven the moose! > > http://people.apache.org/~stephenc/maven-logo-contest/maven-3.png > > May need a tweaking... > > Here's a larger version > > http://people.apache.org/~stephenc/maven-logo-contest/maven-3-big.png > > > On 17 December 2013 16:00, Stephen Connolly < > [email protected] > > wrote: > > > well if we do with Fred's McDonalds, the Apache feather needs some better > > integration with the globe as there is a shadow mismatch in my mashup! > > > > > > On 17 December 2013 15:48, Tamás Cservenák <[email protected]> wrote: > > > >> Ok, then let me try to find some imagery... hm, google for maven, mkay, > >> click Images....
