If this is not specific to Maven then perhaps it's better to continue the discussion over at sisu-...@sonatype.org since the container in Maven currently runs in strict Plexus mode. This is so plugin developers don't accidentally depend on new container features (JSR330 or otherwise) before the community has had a chance to properly discuss them.
