I'm happy with that. Generally, I'm in agreement (I was probably the
first to make this argument when it was proposed :), but I thought
we'd been through the discussions and agreed to make an exception
given it was what we wanted and had no negative impact being an
addition with clear use cases.
Anyway, I'll add it to trunk.

I don't think any lifecycle changes should be made in a point
release. Lifecycle changes are big things, I think they should rank
up there with POM changes and be save for major releases.
But certainly not for the 2.0.5 release.
